The doctor ran around the hospital like a cheetah today. He's tall, and because of my lack of height, i found myself literally chasing after the him, right after his lanky legs. (People in the hospital tend to like taking the stairs too)

I finally got to see the real stuff today. I handled it a lot better than i thought i would, actually, i was almost perfectly fine. Intestines falling out all over, the burnt smell rising during incision, bloody gauze/fluids, you got it. Haha, i guess i'm less chicken than i thought i was.

Then again,
my dad did an endoscopy today, (stuffing a camera thing up your ass to check your colon) and i could have watched it, like how i watched the other patients but he didn't want me to. Because, he said i'd never ever forget it if they were to find something there. Something, bad. While that was logical, i couldn't help but ache inside. I really wish i wasn't so emotional sometimes. They also found two blockages in his arteries and hence an op should take place sometime soon.

It sucks to get older, wiser, move on with life, but at the same time having to watch your loved ones age dangerously close to, the end.
