Haha alright, while this blog is slowly slipping into redundancy, i shall fit in an entry or two. I have yet to upload pctures from the UK or from BKK. Thinking about it, i've really travelled quite a bit this year, haha five countries in 6 months! haha

The past few days have been rather interesting. I went to BKK last weekend with kenny's family and i came back with a sore throat which developed into quite a bad cough. (I was coughing so badly at night i sounded asthmatic haha) So, monday morning, i went to my family doctor WHO TOLD ME I HAD TO BE SENT TO TTS HOSPITAL IN AN AMBULANCE BECAUSE THAILAND WAS ONE OF THE AFFECTED AREAS AND IT WAS ONLY NORMAL PROTOCOL.

You should have seen the look on my face.

So the doctor gave me a mask and made me sit in this tiny restricted area which had the sign "flu/fever area, no entry". Apparently there were many cases that monday morning because the dear ambulance took a grand total of 4 hours to come. Yes 4 hours. I alternated between falling asleep because of the drowsy cough mixture and staring at appalled passerbys walk quickly away when they saw this masked girl (erm me) seated in the isolated zone in the clinic. Please bear in mind that it would have taken me half an hour to walk to the hospital, they sent me to alexandra in the end.

I got to the hospital where i received stunning news, i had to stay for the night. I was like, you're. kidding. me. But when i saw the chubby male nurse blink and twirl his ankle uncomfortably i was like oh shit you're not. Then, i found out that i had to sleep in a chair. A CHAIR. And no, i was not comforted by the nurse's plead that i could recline the chair. (Like leaning 20 degrees further back would help) (They wheeled in a bed later at night, i must have looked really pathetic)

I checked into the hospital at 4pm and i only got out at 5 plus the day after :( thank goodness i got my mum to bring my laptop so i just played many many many hours of sims! Haha i know everyone's onto sims 3 but i bought this sims2 20 expansion packs in one thing from bangkok and it totally rocks. It even has H&M clothing and Ikea furniture inside :) other than that, i glued my eyes to the tv where it certainly didn't help when you're quarantined in a hospital because you're suspected to have the swine flu and you watch on the news that the first person in asia just died from it. You're just like :O

Everytime i'm out and coughing and people are giving me weird stares i just want to scream I'M NOT INFECTED WITH THE H1N1 VIRUS YOU ASS, I GOT IT CHECKED YESTERDAY

Kenny's back in again :( :(
